PowerShell Summit 2014 NA - Day 2

Another day of PowerShell Awesomeness !!!  Learned a ton of things today !! Made some new PowerShell friends ANDDD met so many PowerShell Team members!! Nana, John Slack, Bruce,...etc... and Diane Dubois a new member from France! It was a great surprise! Awesome! I was really not expecting to speak French at the summit ;-)

About Hyper-V and WMI with Aleksandar Nikolic
When Hyper-V is installed on W2012 or W8 a new namespace is available : root\virtualization\v2
This allows admins to create extra tools where no cmdlets exist for some tasks.

  2. That's weird, I was setting up a demo to show xenserver to my department (no money, it had to be free) and my datastore was NFS on windows, it worked perfectly fine. Hell, I even live migrated a disk to and from.

    I never ran any tests but throughput was 'okay' (I donno, 60MBps? or 70?), boot time was normal.
